Louise Tremblay

Executive Director

Louise Tremblay has over 30 years of experience in leadership roles in the private and non-for-profit sectors. Prior to joining Brella, she was concurrently the Director of Development at UNITI and a Consultant with the BC Association of Community Response Networks. She was also on the Board of Directors of Brella for 7 years, three of which she served as Chair. Louise earned a Master of Arts in Leadership from Royal Roads University where she conducted a research project on inclusive workplaces. She was the recipient of the 2017 Surrey Board of Trade Woman in Business Award for not-for-profit leadership. Her volunteering activities include working for organizations providing services to older adults and people with disabilities and translating social science books for children with learning disabilities. Louise feels honoured and privileged to be working with collaborative groups who share her passion about developing inclusive and safe communities where diverse people can thrive and experience life to its fullest potential. While Louise was born and raised in Quebec, she lived much of her adult life in Western Canada, including Edmonton and Winnipeg. She has been a resident of South Surrey/White Rock since 1993.


Aura Chiriac

Director Property Management and Resident Engagement

Aura Chiriac is a personable and energetic individual with a passion for people’s well-being and providing excellent customer service. Her career began as a civil engineer in Eastern Europe from where she emigrated in 1995. She started a career in hotel management in Vancouver and  has enjoyed working with great people and organizations ever since. Family and children have been her priority along with her career. She moved to Ocean Park/South Surrey where she has been living for the past 20 years. She has extensive experience in property management and retirement homes enjoying interactions with older adults. She values doing the right thing and assisting people with sincere genuine care. She has a great interest in history, especially Renaissance arts and architecture, literature and music. She considers life a great gift and she tries to make each moment count, not only for herself and her family but for everyone around her.


Louise Taylor

Director Community Engagement

Louise has spent the past 15 years working in senior administration positions for several top BC companies.  Louise has been a community influencer, volunteer and fundraiser for many years with the last six in White Rock where she had served as Vice Chair for the Tour de White Rock, a board member of White Rock Festival of Lights and is currently a member of the White Rock Soroptimsts International.  Louise is an authentic leader and connector. She is dedicated to strengthening community through building bridges and identifying opportunities for engagement.  Louise is passionate about the arts and is a  Charity Auctioneer, Fine Art Consult, and is pursuing her levels WSet Wine education. Louise lives in White Rock with her partner of 23 years and two most loved fur babies, Lola and Sophie.
